I wish that more people supported this video. It is beautiful, and it is right. How can we say we love God but hate someone because they are gay? 1 John 4:8 says, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” and 1 John 3:15 says, “Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.”
How can we allow children to be murdered and bullied to death and not see a problem with it? How can we say we live in a free country where everyone is equal, and yet not allow specific people to marry, not allow them the freedom to love whoever they choose, and not allow them to be parents?
How would you feel if someone told you, “Sorry, you can’t marry them, just because some people don’t want you to.” Don’t tell me you’d be okay with that. How would you feel if someone said to you, “Sorry, you can’t be a parent because I don’t think you’d be good at it, just because I don’t like who you married.” Don’t tell me you wouldn’t be furious. How would you feel if you son or daughter lived every day of their lives miserable because they were taunted and mocked for being different? Would you just shrug your shoulders? Or would you fight for your kid? Would you say bullying is NOT okay, especially not when someone kills themselves because of it. How many young KIDS have to die before we realize that this is not right? When will people finally let go of all their hate and admit they are wrong?
